The restaurant gave its creative and innovative take on traditional Japanese cuisine, using high-quality ingredients and expert techniques to create unique and memorable dishes. The restaurant itself does not have many seats so customers are usually there to order takeaways.
Truffle mushroom kaarage bowl was delightful due to the rich and flavorful truffle mushroom sauce that features the earthy and aromatic flavors of truffles and mushrooms. The kaarage itself was still crispy and juicy despite being covered in the sauce, making it a surprisingly good combination.
The curry katsu rice includes a crispy breaded chicken cutlet served with their aromatic and savory curry sauce over the bed of Japanese rice. It is truly a hearty and satisfying meal that is perfect for any day of the week, making it a delicious and comforting dish that will warm your belly and your heart.
The mentaiko salmon rice bowl is my personal favorite due to the generous serving of mentaiko sauce on top of their perfectly grilled tender salmon. The mentaiko sauce definitely added an extra kick to flavor and texture of the rice bowl, making it a flavorful and satisfying meal that is perfect for a quick and easy lunch or dinner.
Their side dishes are also delicious and they have a wide selection of it for everyone to choose from. Japanese food lovers will definitely enjoy the food here. With a mouth-watering menu featuring everything from delicious ramen and fresh sushi to poke bowls and juicy burgers, Ishiro has something to please every palate.
