FairPrice Group opens new Finest supermarket with integrated Food Hall at The Woodleigh Mall

FairPrice Group (FPG) today marked the official opening of its 35th FairPrice Finest outlet at The Woodleigh Mall. Spanning over 25,000 sq ft, the 24-hour store houses a blended food hall concept where residents staying in the newly developed Bidadari estate can look forward to enjoying freshly baked breads, customised meals, craftbeers, and shaken cocktails while they do their grocery runs–all under one roof! Catering to homemakers and avid home cooks in the vicinity, the store also boasts a wide selection of fresh produce, meat, seafood, and gourmet and specialty products around the clock.

Shop, Wine, and Dine with a blended Food Hall Concept

One of the highlights of FairPrice Finest at The Woodleigh Mall is its in-store dining experience that provides consumers with an exciting and fuss-free way to shop for groceries while also enjoying a diverse range of culinary delights.

Off the success of The Grocer Bar concept in The Centrepoint and Ang Mo Kio Blk 712 stores, FairPrice Finest now expands the concept to a fresh seafood Pick ‘n’ Cook, a specialty coffee and artisanal bakes concept with the debut of The Grocer Kitchen and The Grocer Cafe, respectively. The spacious dining and events area accommodates up to 26 diners per seating (with an additional 15 seats by the bar), setting the tone as a community social hub that will serve as a platform for experiential activities such as wine tasting sessions, food workshops and more.

The Grocer Cafe features freshly brewed coffee and cold brews from local artisans, Tiong Hoe Specialty Coffee, known for their quality coffee products sourced from Africa, Asia, South, and Central America, as well as The Bakehaus, local natural bakers who pride themselves in their quality bakes without the use of any chemicals, preservatives, and additives. Each variety of bread also goes through a minimum of 16 hours of fermentation to achieve the desired taste, texture, and aroma, and only AOP Lescure French Butter is used for their delightfully flaky viennoiseries. The perfect pairing of delicious coffee and crusty bread to welcome customers to the store.

Indulge in the ultimate local gastronomic experience with the Grocer Kitchen’s ‘Pick ‘n’Cook’ option, where customers can handpick the freshest seafood to be expertly prepared ala minute, just the way they like it.
