Singaporeโs favourite artisanal bakery Tiong Bahru Bakery (TBB) is dropping its anchor at the ultimate foodie destination in Alexandra – Anchorpoint, with a new outlet exclusive. The month of May will also herald an exquisite Motherโs Day treat – a beautiful Strawberry Tart.
Nestled in the newly upgraded Anchorpoint Shopping Centre, TBBโs 13th bakery is tucked away in the charming extension surrounded by greenery from the bustling cross junction of Alexandra. The latest outlet offers a bright and breezy ambience perfect for those looking for a cozy nook to enjoy a range of the brandโs signature freshly baked pastries.
With plenty of natural light streaming in, the warm and inviting atmosphere sets the tone for a homey-vibe that TBB is known for. The thoughtfully designed space seats and booths for up to 44 pax, allowing guests to relax and savour in comfort. Whether itโs for a family cafe date, a catch-up with friends or even some me-time, this new space is an ideal spot for a good cuppa and scrumptious authentic French treats.
Guests of TBB Anchorpoint can enjoy the launch exclusive Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookie ($5). The thick, luscious dark chocolate cookie is stuffed with an ooey-gooey peanut butter filling and is generously studded with roasted peanuts, adding a delightful crunch and nutty flavour to every bite. This cookie is a divine combination of sweet and nutty thatโs simply irresistible.
Also, launching this month is TBBโs beautiful Motherโs Day treat, a fresh Strawberry Tart ($11). Enjoy the extraordinary Strawberry Tart made of sweet and buttery Pate Sucree, baked almond cream, strawberry compote with fresh chopped strawberries, topped with a white chocolate, vanilla whipped ganache, sweet strawberries, and a dusting of lime zest, and topped with a red and white chocolate hearts. This delectable creation is as pretty as it is tasty, a lovely way to show appreciation to mothers on this meaningful day. The Strawberry Tart is available at any TBB outlet from 12 to 14 May.
