Wish to groove to live band music, savour appetising skewers, and a wide variety of fusion food and alcohols all at one spot? Check out Bar Bar Q at Suntec City! Singaporeβs first skewer restaurant bar with live music, Bar Bar Q offers a place for you to let loose and have a good time. As we walked into the restaurant, the walls are adorned with posters of Chinese characters. The decors were simple yet cozy with some fixtures of loud signs, adding to the ambience.
You got to try the real deal on the menu, the Fire Cracker Chicken 2.0. It’s spicy, numbing, and utterly addictive. It pursued a bold flavour while keeping the taste well-balanced. The chunks of meat were crispy on the outside but remain tender inside. This is a great dish to pair with a glass of ice-cold beer.
The βJak Pa Langβ Fries is great for sharing. A bowl fully loaded with fries and a variety of toppings such as beef, nachos, mayo, spring onion, nori, and togarashi. Pretty much a key appeal as you dig in unapologetically with your fingers.
Bar Bar Q also has a variety of satays on its menu: lamb, beef, chicken, pork. We had a combination of chicken and beef satay to try and they were smoky sweet and savoury. The meat was grilled to perfection, enhancing the flavour of the meat and resulting in succulent and juicy texture. The satays are all served with spicy peanut sauce. If you don’t like satays, Bar Bar Q also has Chinese Skewers and Teriyaki Skewers for you to choose.
As for their mains, we tried the Creamy Beef Pasta. The sauce in the pasta was typically thick and velvety in texture, and it encased the pasta evenly for a satisfying mouthfeel. Overall rich and smooth taste.
