TritanTM is a sturdy bisphenol A (BPA) free plastic widely used in homeware, appliances, and medical equipment, created and manufactured by the Eastman Chemical Company (Eastman).
The qualities of TritanTM enable Evorie to make bottles that look like glass (ultra-clear, stain, and scratch resistant), and yet are not as fragile and heavy as glass. Evorie feeding bottles are thicker and more durable (they look brand new even after a year of use) which also results in less plastic waste as they need not be disposed of as soon as other bottles. TritanTM is trademarked by the Eastman Chemical Company and approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). It is used in household brands like Vitamixยฎ and Tupperwareยฎ and is GREENGUARDยฎ-certified for low chemical emissions. The material is also third-party lab tested to be free of bisphenol A (BPA), bisphenol S (BPS), and other bisphenols, which may leak into foods and cause health issues, and does not contain hormone-altering estrogenic activity (EA) and androgenic activity (AA). It also uses up to 50% ISCC Plus (International Sustainability & Carbon Certification) certified recyclable content, making it an eco-friendly material.
