They also have private dining rooms with Karaoke without any charges if you are dining with a min of 5ppl! Talk about free singing and enjoying meals! With 2 levels of seating available, this is a great area for a family gathering or even a team-building function! 💁♀️ I tried a total of 8 dishes, and the first thing that comes to my mind – DELICIOUS!
Fresh ingredients used + well seasoning + chef thoughtfulness in every dish = Wonderful dishes!
One of my favourites was their vegetable dish made using organic vegetables – Dry Pot Organic Cauliflower ($13.8). They were naturally sweet and I enjoyed them a lot!
Did you know that they introduced the First Fried Spicy Chilli Frog ($24.8)? Fresh frogs are used for all their frog dishes. It is very addictive, albeit if Frog dishes are not to your liking, replace it with Fried Spicy Chilli Chicken! These are the two most popular dishes in the restaurant. Psst, they used homemade sauces for these two dishes. You can’t find the taste elsewhere!
Their Sze Chuan Spare Ribs ($19.8) and Sweet and Sour Fish ($29.8) are my other favourites too! It was juicy, sweet and tender. The meat from the spare ribs easily slide off the bone and the peppery seasoning is very addictive! They attentively marinated their spare ribs with their homemade sauce for 2 days so you will definitely get deep umami flavour.
Their Sweet and Sour Fish was very well deboned that would otherwise require careful eating. This is a must-order if you have children! The fish was fresh and the deep fried made the skin crispy. Beneath it was the steamy hot fresh fish fillet that was just perfect for the taste buds. Coupled with the sweet and sour sauce, it was the perfect combination with white rice.

I love it when chefs are innovative and passionate with what they do. Their menu have over a 100+ selection of food and drinks selection and it will definitely make you hard to decide what is best to order. Hence, it is recommended to bring as many friends and family as possible to book their private KTV room!
As compared to other Chinese Restaurants that also has KTV private room, I would vouch that old reunion restaurant 老地方 is the top choice in terms of food quality, price, place aesthetic, comfort and most importantly service. Wholesome and affordable food + KTV? How to find such a place?
