Looking for an awesome French cuisine restaurant after work, I took a break from emails and went down to Braseiro with my boyfriend to fill up our tummies. Located at 333 Joo Chiat Road, Braseiro is a cosy French restaurant suitable for both small and large gatherings.
Braseiro serves amazingly authentic French steak-frites! We ordered the set lunch that comes with the oh-so-amazing melty Camembert roti, bone-in pork chop, steak, and dessert!

JUST ORDER the cheese if you adore cheese like me! Itβs so good that we ordered another basket of roti to go with it. The roti is fresh and soft. I could have eaten a whole lot of it but I had to save some stomach space for the main course.
The meats are served with the following sauces:
- Black Pepper
- Dijon Mustard – amazing with the steakΒ
- Homemade Cajun Mayo – this goes well with the pork chop! My favourite too! π€€
The steak is upgraded to a bigger size and the pork was so juicy! Many restaurants serve pork that is pretty tough but i am totally amazed by the quality of meat that Braseiro serves. I will try the lamb and duck next time! There are so many different options for meat lovers.
My boyfriend needed the sugar boost and so we had not just 1, but 2 desserts! Itβs so worth it! The lava cake was nicely heated up, gooey on the inside and piping hot outside. The dessert of the day was amazing too. You must try it if you have the chance.Β
All in all, Braseiro is a must-go restaurant with relaxing vibes and great food. I canβt wait to head down again to wind down and munch on some frites, cheese, and bread plus a nice glass down after work. Special mention of their great service! From the ordering all the way till the end of the meal, service was tip top. Ivy ensured that we were comfortable and even offered to reheat my cheese when it got cold.Β
